Add www forwarding

To ensure your site works for people who are still in the habit of typing www before the domain name, you'll need to set up a "CNAME". It may already be in place, in which case you do not need to do anything. It should look like this:

If it's not there, you'll need to add it:

  1. Click ADD NEW RECORD

  2. Select CNAME Record

  3. Enter @ into the host field

  4. Enter your domain name into the Target field and click the checkmark

  5. Test your domain by opening up a new browser tab and typing in www.yourdomainname.com. It should forward to yourdomainname.com
