People interacting with your site can have one of the following statuses:
Active
Paying for a membership and WILL renew.
Note that a few payment methods only support one-time payments, these will expire on the renewal date.
Cancelled
Rebills have been cancelled and will NOT renew.
Still have access to content until the renewal date.
Expired
Renewal date has passed.
No longer have access to your content.
Can pay for a new new membership at any time.
Guest
People who have created accounts, but have never had a membership.
Visitors
Visitors do not show in your dashboard. They are visitors to your site, but are either not logged in, or do not have accounts.
Membership lifecycle
Members often cancel and rejoin again later, so we make this process as easy as possible. The following membership lifecycle is very common:
Join > Active > Cancelled > Expired > Rejoin > Active
